Makes 25 pieces
T’ings are the simplest candy you can make, consisting of dark chocolate (or milk or white chocolate, if you prefer a less virtuous chocolate experience!) with chopped dried fruits and nuts. You can make any combination you like, but pistachios and cherries are a favorite.
Ingredients
- 4 oz dark chocolate (dairy-free, if needed), melted and tempered
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts or dried or candied fruit, for topping
Directions
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Using a teaspoon, drop the tempered chocolate in half dollar–size pieces onto the sheet pan.
- Place the desired garnishes on the pools of chocolate before they begin to set.
- Allow the t’ings to set fully before releasing from the paper.
