Lavande: A Summer Stroll in Provence
A CIA Student-Run Charity Dining Event
Saturday, July 27, 2024 | 4 p.m.
Join us for a summer stroll through Provence, France, at the Culinary Institute of America’s senior capstone event, Lavande: A Summer Stroll in Provence. We are thrilled to offer you the taste of the southern French coast with a cocktail hour and dinner service. Your evening will be hosted, prepared, and served with care by our graduating Food Business Management students.
Our event will benefit and highlight the wonderous efforts of Portraits of Hope. They aim to enrich the lives of children and adults—many of whom may be coping with adversity or serious illness—through participation in creative, artistic projects. We will also be highlighting and contributing a portion of the night’s proceeds to the Love for Lade Memorial Scholarship, created to honor the memory of Omolade “Lade” Perry, a 16-year U.S. Navy veteran and student in CIA’s bachelor’s degree program, who passed away suddenly in March 2022.
