Carnivale di Venezia: Unmask the Magic - Student Charity Event

Carnivale di Venezia: Unmask the Magic

A CIA Student-Run Charity Dining Event

Saturday, December 7, 2024 | 5 p.m.

The Culinary Institute of America senior capstone class proudly presents Carnivale di Venezia: Unmask the Magic. Join us for a magical night in Venice without leaving Hyde Park. Students will escort you into a Venetian atmosphere embodied in colors of gold, black, and burgundy with walls decorated in Venetian-style masks and a menu based on classic Italian fare, creating a feast for the eyes and the palate. We were inspired by the elegance of Venetian culture to create an evening and a menu to remember. Celebrate Venetian culture with live music and good company as you come together to enjoy the magic of Venetian carnivale. Each course will be paired with a unique beverage and the night will end with a delectable dessert and takeaways to remember the experience of being treated like royalty.

A portion of this event’s profits will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Their mission is to prevent and end breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research. This charity holds a special place in our hearts as many of us have been personally affected by breast cancer. Supporting this cause allows us to contribute to vital research and offer hope to those impacted by this disease.

Additional proceeds will benefit the Faye “Jeannie” Borgedahl Memorial Scholarship dedicated to the baking and pastry arts. Jeannie’s legacy and love for baking will live on through this scholarship, which will benefit future students who share her passion for baking at the Culinary Institute of America.
