Risotto is a dish many of us love, but few of us attempt to cook at home. It may seem intimidating at first because the method for cooking risotto requires you to constantly be watching it, stirring it and hydrating it for 20 minutes or more to prevent sticking or burning. This time consuming method releases the rice starches slowing creating the creamiest risotto, perfect as a side to any meal.
There are plenty of gussied up risotto recipes, and while we love all of them, sometimes the classic is the best. Try our DISH Member recipe for Risotto , top it with herbs or your favorite grated cheese, if you like (maybe one with truffles!).
